Jonathan Checkley has worked for many years in advertising and design as a typographer, artworker and lettering consultant.

He is now using these skills to create personalised gifts and special items for those people who enjoy their interior space and wish to protect and display their treasured possessions.

Letters and Frames is run from a workshop in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, UK. Please kindly make an appointment before visiting.

Jonathan is a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers (MISTD), Chartered Society of Designers (MCSD),  Letter Exchange, Society of Scribes and Illuminators and the North London Lettering Association.

Jonathan is a Past President of the Typographic Circle and in 2015 was elected to Honorary Membership.

Letters & Frames is a member of the Fine Arts Trade Guild and the Federation of Small Businesses.
